Sporting KC Season Preview, via SB Nation Soccer

via blogswithballs.com

Recently, (as in last night at the very last minute after deadline) I profiled our beloved Sporting Kansas City for the SB Nation main soccer page as part of the network's league-wide season preview series. If you haven't done so already, or this is your first time hearing about it, take the time to check out the fantastic work from my peers here on the network that cover their respective teams daily. No one knows a team like someone who follows them every single day they live; that's why you're here, reading someone just like you.

My preview of Sporting KC can be found right here.

In it, I answer and discuss the following questions:

  • Who do you think will be starting at First Kick?
  • Which new player(s) will have biggest impact?
  • Which player(s) loss will be felt the most?
  • At what point is this season considered success?
  • Whose performance do you think will be most indicative of the season as a whole?
  • Can they survive an epic ten-game road trip to start the season?
  • How will the 2011 CONCACAF Gold Cup affect Sporting KC?

These are all questions that each of us have undoubtedly thought about, and likely discussed with fellow fans over the last few days and weeks. Not only can you get my side of the SKC world, but brush up a bit on the rest of the league and get ready for MLS First Kick March 15.
