In the latest edition of MLSReserves.com's "Monday Morning Thoughts," the website talks about a few of the interesting story lines as we head into the postseason.

Topics covered include; the fact that neither Dwayne De Rosario or Chris Wondolowski (the top scorers in MLS this season) will be in the 2011 playoffs, New York just barely sneaking in to the postseason, and a little bit about your very own, Sporting Kansas City.

Per MLSreserves.com;

the team started off the season on a ten game road swing. It was tough, arduous and players were exhausted. But with the opening of LIVESTRONG Sporting Park and a seriously impressive team performance, they rallied on the final day, and secured the number one position in the East. There's really not much else to be said other than how surprsing and deserving that squad is of their new accolade. Happy to see stories like that in the league.
