Yesterday I posted about former Sporting Kansas City designated player Jeferson, who appeared set to sign with Brazilian squad, Club Nautico. Today it appears Nautico are not the only team trying to secure Jeferson's services.

A number of Brazilian websites are reporting that Club Bahia are after Jeferson's signature as well. Both clubs are insisting that a deal for Jeferson is all but completed. In this article, Club Nautico mention that a deal is all but done. On the futebolbahiano.com website, Club Bahia are claiming that they are the front runners for Jeferson.

It sounds like the only way Jeferson can sign with either Nautico or Bahia is if his current club, Vasco de Gama, are willing to release him from his contract, which I would imagine would have to include the club he signs with paying Vasco de Gama an agreeable fee. I first thought that perhaps Jeferson was going to be loaned out once again.
