7:30 p.m. ET, 6:30 p.m. CT

TV: KSMO-TV (Ch. 62) in HD, MLS DirectKick

When you look up the phrase "must-win game" in the dictionary, "New England Revolution vs. Sporting Kansas City, April 23, 2011" is the exact text that you see listed as the definition. In many ways, this is a huge game for both teams. Sporting KC are looking to end a three-game winless streak that has seen the team pick up two very disappointing performances in a row. Columbus have lost two in a row and are quickly sliding down the league standings, as are SKC.

New England welcome in new additions Benny Feilhaber and Rajko Lekic, who both figure to add to the Revs' floundering attack of late. KC welcome back playmaking forward Ryan Smith, likely as a second half substitution option. Throw that on top of a game with serious implications for each team and we're set for a real cracker in Foxboro.

Starting Lineups

New England (4-3-3): Reis - Domi, Soares, Coria, Alston - Feilhaber, Joseph, McCarthy - Lekic, Perovic, Boggs

Kansas City (4-3-3): Nielsen - Espinoza, Besler, Collin, Harrington - Diop, Arnaud, Stojcev - Sapong, Bunbury, Kamara

The big KC Cauldron watch party is at Johnny's Tavern (1310 Grand Blvd.) Power&Light District location in downtown Kansas City, MO. There should be a couple hundred rabid Sporting KC fans there tearing it up for their team's MLS First Kick 2011 kickoff. But, for those of you watching from the comforts of home tonight, come inside and join Andy Edwards of The Daily Wiz, and (hopefully) a few of its readers for what's known around these parts as an Open Game Thread. We'll be discussing tonight's action live, as it happens on the field. Also, we'll (tenatively) be streaming a postgame episode of The Daily Wiz's podcast, "Ted And Trent Talkin' Touches" after the game.

All you need to do is sign up for an SB Nation account, which can be done here. That account and screenname are good for all 300 of the network's sites, many of which are team-specific. Meaning, you're a fan of the Kansas Jayhawks, Missouri Tigers, etc.? There's sites for each one of those teams, including all NFL, MLB, NBA and NHL teams if that's your thing, plus about 100 college team sites. Once you've done that, simply agree to join the membership here at TDW, and you're in!

Also, take this chance to follow The Daily Wiz on Twitter, and "Like" us on Facebook, too. That way you can keep up with all news, information and analysis that is SKC.
