MLSsoccer.com has named Teal Bunbury the fifth best player in MLS under the age of twenty four.
The list, which was selected form a panel of soccer experts that included; Alexi Lalas, Jeff Carlisle (ESPN), Steve Davis (SI.com), Taylor Twellman (ESPN), Grant Wahl (SI.com), and Kyle Martino (Fox Soccer), was compiled from grades the panel gave players from the following categories; current skill, upside potential, intangibles, Q-rating, and future transfer value.
Bunbury joins Sporting Kansas City forward C.J. Sapong on the list of twenty four players. Sapong was named the 15th best player under the age of twenty four.
It's hard to argue against either Teal or CJ making the list. Both of these players have shown massive amounts of potential, and should be mainstays in the league for years to come.
Well deserved on both counts.
Anyone else think that Chance Myers deserves a spot on the list?
