This week in the way of former juniors news was very quiet. Not much action at all. Matt Kuhn is still on the roster for the Kansas Magic (a local indoor soccer team in the PASL) and it seems as if Tyler Nichol was only on the roster for the Magic last week. I didn't really know much about the Kansas Magic until a couple of weeks ago when I saw Kuhn's name pop up(who previously was on trial for Sporting Kansas City). It's kind of interesting actually, I assume they are certainly open to letting local players like Nichol and Kuhn on their team for at least a game to regain some match fitness. Here's the rest of this week's update:
Jon Kempin - With Sporting Kansas City in Arizona for preseason, did not feature in the match against DC United.
Kevin Ellis - Missed a good deal of training this week due to a knock picked up earlier in the preseason
Kyle Miller - As far as I know, he's still with the team in Arizona for the preseason on trial
Matt Kuhn - Played in both of the Kansas Magic's wins against Detroit and Illinois, earned an assist in the Detroit game.
