The United States Men's National Team has announced that they will be returning to LiveSTRONG Sporting Park.
It was announced today that the United States will play Guatemala in a qualifier for the 2014 Fifa World Cup in Brazil, taking place on October 16, 2012 at LiveSTRONG Sporting Park.
This will be the second time that the Men's National Team will play at LiveSTRONG Sporting Park, the first being in a Gold Cup match against Guadeloupe in which they won 1-0.
LiveSTRONG Sporting Park is an ideal stadium for a World Cup qualifier because it's big enough that more than 20,000 Americans can fit, but small enough that it can be almost unanimously Pro-American, unlike the 2011 Gold Cup final in Pasadena, California.
Kickoff will be at 6 pm central, and it will be televised on ESPN2 and Telefutura. This will be the third and final home qualifier for the United States in the round. The other two host cities are Tampa, Florida where The United States takes on Antigua and Barbuda this Friday, and Columbus, Ohio for the match against Jamaica in September.
