Huge news broke out of Sierra Leone today as Sporting Kansas City winger Kei Kamara and his international teammate Ibrahim Obreh Kargbo had been suspended from representing Sierra Leone indefinitely. This coming from the SLFA(Sierra Leone Football Association).

"The decision to suspend the two players is as a result of indiscipline and also frequent contempt on the minister coupled with other inciting and derogatory statements by both players towards football officials and other inciting utterances and threatening remarks on air against football authorities."

The only thing that I can really thing of recently that Kei has done wrong to deserve this type of punishment is a lot of complaining on his twitter about some parts of his recent trip in Sierra Leone where he helped the country secure important results for both the ACN and 2014 WCQ. But even then it really doesn't justify a penalty of this magnitude.

The article suggests that "The suspension of the two players could also be connected to recent problems between the players, the sports minister and the FA."

Nevertheless, huge news for Kei.
