In MLS' injury update today there were three significant things to take away from the renewed list. For starters, both Bobby Convey and Paulo Nagamura had been taken off the "out" section of the list. Convey is still listed as probable so it will most likely be touch and go in terms of whether or not he will start tomorrow, but if Bobby does get the nod I wouldn't expect anything more than 60-70 minutes on his mileage. Meanwhile, Nagamura will most likely return to the bench as Michael Thomas makes room for the Brazilian in the gameday 18 due to an ankle sprain. The last important update was that of Kenyan defender Lawrence Olum's addition to the "out" section of the injury list. Lawrence picked up a groin strain in the 19th minute of the 1-0 loss to the Chicago Fire on Saturday. So with that in mind expect the ever-reliable center back partnership of Matt Besler and Aurelien Collin.
Here's the official update:
SPORTING KANSAS CITY -- OUT: DF Cyprian Hedrick (L fibula fracture); GK Jon Kempin (R ankle fracture); DF Lawrence Olum (L groin strain); DOUBTFUL: MF Michael Thomas (R ankle sprain); PROBABLE: FW Bobby Convey (L calf strain)
