Sporting Kansas City winger Kei Kamara announced via Twitter on Tuesday, as is the new protocol for "breaking news," that his application for a United Kingdom work permit has been accepted, allowing the 28-year old Sierra Leone international to join Norwich City on loan until May 6. Kamara will miss the first ten games of Sporting KC's upcoming 2013 Major League Soccer season, provided the English Premier League club choose not to activate the permanent-buy clause in Kamara's loan deal.
Here at The Daily Wiz, we've discussed Kamara's reasoning for moving, and how Sporting might look to replace Kamara's 30 goals and 18 assists since 2010 during his absence.
Given that May 6 is now three months and a day away, it would behoove Kamara to find himself in England not by the weekend but by tomorrow, and it seems that will be the case"
Happy to say I have picked up my passport/visa & getting on a flight tonite to England. Gonna miss my #SkcNation. Hold it Down boys c u soon
