WATCH: Robert Earnshaw puts Toronto FC up 1-0 after just 3 minutes

Toronto FC scored very quickly against Sporting KC on Saturday. Robert Earnshaw was the beneficiary of a lackadaisical mistake at the back by SKC.

Sporting Kansas City gave up an early goal due to lackadaisical defending and concentration in the club's season opener last week in Philadelphia, but were able to fight back for the 3-1 victory on opening day. If they're to take three points this week, Sporting KC will have to fight back once again after conceding an early goal to Toronto FC.

Welsh international Robert Earnshaw capitalized on a mistake between Matt Besler and Aurelien Collin to pounce on a weak back pass and fire past Sporting KC goalkeeper Jimmy Nielsen in just the 3rd minute of Saturday's matchup at the Rogers Centre in Canada.

Besler went down with an apparent head injury just a couple minute after the goal was scored, so the communication and interplay between the two Sporting centerbacks will be something to keep an eye on as Sporting KC look to make their second comeback in as many weeks.
