When Sporting Kansas City heads to Honduras Monday to face Olimpia in their second CCL match, they will be hauling more than just players and team equipment. Michael Flaherty (@KitmanSKC), SKC's notorious equipment manager will also be taking supplies to help a local school.

The school is in need of all the normal school kid supplies: Pencils, pens notebooks, paper, crayons, calculators and anything else you that kinds may need to learn.

The school they chose has two sports teams, soccer and basketball and those teams are badly in need as well. The basketball team did not even have an actual basketball! I know there are a few balls already packed up but any school or soccer/basketball equipment will be greatly appreciated.

In honor of helping out the country that gave us Roger Espinoza, Flaherty will be giving away an autographed Espinoza jersey that Roger autographed the last time he was here.

Drop off the supplies/sports equipment to the security office at Sporting Park (or if you can catch someone at the training center). When you deliver your donations, leave your name, phone, email and Flaherty will compile all the names and draw a lucky winner of the Espinoza jersey.
