Just when we thought we might be able to keep Kei Kamara through the summer transfer window, deadline day fever set in.
Rumors coming out of England are saying that Kei Kamara is nearing a deal with Middlesbrough FC to play for the Football League Championship, the second level in English soccer.

Now, he may be in England because that is a stopover point going to Sierra Leone, where he has been called up to play in their final World Cup Qualifier. However this next tweet from BBC senior football reporter Ian Dennis says that Middlebrough and Kamara are close to a deal.

Absolutely nothing is confirmed yet, but Sky Sports News and BBC are typically pretty good sources out of England. Then, of course, there was this tweet from Robb Heineman.

That looks like the unpopular decision may revolve around Kamara. We'll keep monitoring the situation and keep you updated with all the latest news out of England. The transfer window closes at 5 pm central time.
