So much for a youth movement, eh? Actually, I thought the USA youngsters/bubble players played decent against Ecuador, and how about that Donovan pass to the post that almost resulted in a goal? Would have been epic...
But, yes, after securing a playoff spot after beating the Chicago Fire 2-0 last night, Graham Zusi and Matt Besler have been called up to Jurgen Klinsmann's squad to face Honduras on Tuesday.
Honduras got dos-a-cero'ed against Mexico the other night and the US seems to be positioning themselves for a fight given that Klinsmann wants more MLS based players, with Dempsey and Bradley getting callups, along with Jermaine Jones and Sean Johnson.

Both Zusi and Besler had great games last night, and will likely be key players in the next cycle, so this shouldn't be much of a surprise, and while it's great that Sporting has qualified for the post-season already, I do have some concerns as we continue to jocky for seeding and position, but kudos to the guys and here's to hoping for a good performance.
Also, rumors are swirling about Roger Espinoza, but that's all I'm going to say about that because... that's all I know about that.
