The MLS corner of Twitter exploded earlier today after Sporting KC broadcaster Cal Williams tweeted that Sporting KC had passed in the 2014 Chivas USA Dispersal Draft.

Apparently, MLS had asked people on the conference call not to live tweet the draft, because Williams quickly deleted both tweets and disappeared from Twitter. Rumors about what MLS had done to Cal quickly started. Here are some of the highlights.

Of course, not everyone on Twitter knew what was happening.

It is safe to say that MLS Twitter knows how to have a fun Wednesday afternoon. Cal Williams has not tweeted since the incident.
