Vlatko Andonovski has been the best head coach in the National Women's Soccer League record-wise these past two seasons and is being rewarded for it. FC Kansas City announced today that Andonovski has been granted a three-year contract extension to remain as head coach of the Blues.

Terms of the contract were not disclosed.

Andonovski led the Blues to their first NWSL title in 2014 when they defeated the Seattle Reign 2-1 this past August. FC Kansas City finished second in the NWSL both in 2013 and 2014, earning the best overall record since the start of the league in the 2013 season.

Andonovski is currently in the middle of the Missouri Comets first season in the MASL after he led them to a title in the now-defunct MISL. He will start the Blues' quest for another title next April.
