Although the season ended prematurely, there is a lot to look forward to this offseason. With the expansion draft approaching it will be interesting to see which players SKC protect from being picked up by Orlando or NYC. The SuperDraft should also be interesting as Sporting have two first round picks (Teal Bunbury trade). Moreover, CBA negotiations could bring about higher pay and possibly a fourth DP.
Dom Dwyer and Graham Zusi are both up for Goal of the Year. Dom for his stoppage time, match winner in Colorado, and Zusi for his screamer against Chicago (and definitely NOT for his celebration). Voting for the Goal of the Year is now open.
Also, voting for the Save of the Year is open. Nick Rimando is on there twice of course, but the Raul Hernandez double save is incredible!

"At 37 and in the final weeks of his contract, Henry could be 90 minutes away from the end of his career."
Speaking of the Red Bulls, they are sending 1,000 fans to D.C. for the next match.
The inaugural jersey for Orlando City SC has been released. It is rather classy. Very subtle. The jersey also pays homage to it's USL Pro history by putting the old crest on the inside of the jersey over the player's heart.
Over in Europe, Tim Howard got his 150th European shut out as Everton beat Lille to stay on top of their group in the Europa League.
Although meaningless, power rankings are always fun to debate. Here is Shaka Hislop's world power rankings from ESPN. Real Madrid is on top, followed by Bayern Munich and Chelsea.
I'm sure this had to have taken a nasty little bounce... but if you TRIED to miss this shot I don't think you could:
The 2015 Preseason is just 3 months away! Sporting announced the match dates and opponents for the Desert Diamond Cup starting Jan 31.
