A few days ago we reported that FC Kansas City was closing in on an international signing. It appears they have Australian midfielder Katrina Gorry lined up and ready to sign. Gorry played for the Brisbane Roar and helped them to the W-League Final.
Gorry (21) is known for her ability to control possession and her playmaking skills. She is on the small side, her largest reference places her at 4' 8 ½"but is reported to be very speedy.
She has appeared 11 times for the Matildas with three goals.
Official word should be coming in the next few days.
