FC Kansas City has sent two players on loan this week. Midfielder Katrina Gorry is being loaned to the Brisbane Roar of the W-League (Australia) and forward Morgan Marlborough to Glasgow FC of the Scottish Premier Soccer League (Scotland) for the 2014-2015 NWSL off-season.

Gorry not only returns to her homeland but she also returns to the Roar, the team she helped to the 2013-14 W-League season final. Gorry has made 25 appearances with 7 goals for Brisbane. The Australian national team player joined the Blues mid-season and appeared in nine matches with a goal in route to the NWSL Championship.

Marlborough tallied twice while also appearing in 9 games for the Blues this season. The Lee's Summit, MO native has made several appearances with the U.S. youth teams and was drafted 12th overall by FC Kansas City after a notable college career with the University of Nebraska and Santa Clara, Playing for Glasgow FC will provide Marlborough the opportunity of playing UEFA Women's Champions League soccer.

With the 2015 Women's World Cup and national team residency camps occurring during the 2015 NWSL season, the team will need players in camp at the start of the season. The team has confirmed that both players are scheduled to return to return to Kansas City before the start of the 2015 NWSL season.

According to sources within the team these are the only two loans that are planned by the Blues at this time.

The Blues' pair joins more than two dozen NWSL players going on loan this off-season with almost half of them headed to Australia, a couple to Japan and the rest around to various teams in Europe.
