Dom Dwyer is in the history books as he scores his 19th goal of the year.

A historic year for Dom Dwyer is now officially in the history books as he scored his 19th goal of the 2014 season, breaking Preki's 1996 record of 18 goals in a single season.

In the 40th minute, Dom Dwyer was alone behind the defense after making a run to receive a ball from Graham Zusi on the far side. He beat Dan Kennedy, who came out too far to try and knock Dwyer off, and slotted the ball home for the record-breaker. Check out the goal below.

Dwyer still has five games left to add to that record. Well done Dom!
