The Missouri Comets tweeted last night that the suspension to head coach Vlatko Andonovski had been revoked and that he would be on the bench. The Comets are appealing the three game suspension the league had handed down as a result of the New Year's Eve game in Milwaukee.
The word revoked sounds like the appeal was upheld.
It wasn't.
It hasn't been, at least not yet.
It still might be overturned but during the appeal process, coach Andonovski can perform regular coaching duties. He can be on the bench for tonight's game because the appeal has not been ruled on yet.
Both Comets ownership and MASL Commissioner Kevin Milliken confirmed overnight that the appeal process is still in process. Andonovski may have to sit out two more games at some point if the appeal is rejected.
