Yesterday, the club announced the season kick off celebration will be held on March 4th at the Uptown Shoppes Event Space.

Admittedly I am a sucker for new kits, but the event sounds fun enough for a Wednesday night. It will be complete with "video mapping technology, lasers and lighting effects, as well as electronic concert level sound." And let me tell you... projection mapping is just all sorts of trippy:

Anyway let us all point and laugh for a moment..

Kudos to the guys from Sounder at Heart for noticing that the "Leaked Sounders Shirt has Ominously Absent Comma". The Sounders better be careful, this has the potential to get.. messy.

The 2015 Lamar Hunt US Open Cup format has been announced. It will be the 102nd edition and have a record high of 91 teams competing. Sporting KC will enter the competition in the 4th round on June 16 and 17.

The USMNT has been rather underwhelming as of late and Jurgen Klinsmann went on Fox Sports 1 and spoke about the state of the team. He was his usual outspoken self. Topics covered his desire for an 11 month MLS season and the goal of becoming one of the top 4 teams in the world.

Jorge Claros played 45 mins for Honduras in loss to Venezuela yesterday.

Steve Brisendine writes that Dom Dwyer is ready to have fun again in 2015 after a rough finish to the season last year. While obviously still so young, he is in his 4th year and settling in as a veteran.

"This is by no means a rebuilding year," he said. "This is by no means a fresh new team. We have our base. We know what we're good at. We have, now, more personnel and more guys to get the job done. Our focus is winning, and I feel like we're headed toward that this year."

Dom definitely seems to be fit and having fun:

A lot of fun:

RIGHT HERE is the MLS Preseason Tracker to find highlights and scores. Kaka has already netted a PK for Orlando City.

We'll wrap up with this kid who LITERALLY CAN'T EVEN after a handshake with Totti.
