With a successful 2014 season already behind us, the NWSL today announced the schedule for each team for the 2015 season.
The season will kick off on Friday, April 10th at 7:30 PM central time with the Houston Dash hosting the Washington Spirit.
FCKC's first match will be against Sky Blue FC at 3:00 PM on Sunday, April 12th, and don't forget, that match will be held at Sporting Park. The first match at FCKC's new home at the Swope Park Soccer Village comes on Thursday, April 23rd, against the Seattle Reign in a rematch of last years Championship game that saw Kansas City beating Seattle 2-1 for their first NWSL Championship.
The Blue's longest homestand will be a four game stretch over 19 days in August, with matches on August 1st, August 8th, August 12th, and August 22nd.
Also, just a friendly reminder that 2015 will also see the Women's World Cup being played in Canada. That tournament will be held from June 6th to July 5th. FCKC will have three games in that window and will likely see several players called up to play for the United States.
