Sporting Kansas City's Krisztian Nemeth entered the second half for Hungary as the Magical Magyars rolled over Lithuania 4-0 in a friendly. Nemeth was called up to the Hungary Men's National Team for two international matches. Ranked 43rd in FIFA, Hungary faced Lithuania today to prepare for their UEFA Euro 2016 qualifier versus Finland on June 13.
The Hungarian forward became the second straight Major League Soccer's Player of the Month when he was voted the May recipient this week. Nemeth's three goals and two assists helped Sporting Kansas City go unbeaten in five matches. He has played wing and center forward and been dangerous from both spots.
Nemeth leads Sporting Kansas City with six goals in 2015, which rank fourth most in MLS through Week 13. Acquired during the offseason from Roda JC Kerkrade in the Netherlands, Nemeth is tied for second among all MLS newcomers with 14 points this season.
Nemeth's award follows Benny Feilhaber receiving the award for April.
