FC Kansas City will try to keep their unbeaten streak alive and solidify a playoff spot but it will not be easy. The Blues are on the road at Houston to face the Dash for the second straight match. The Blues and Dash tied 1-1 a few days ago at Swope Park Soccer Village in the first match with all of the World Cup stars back.

"It is always very tough to play a team back-to-back," Blues head coach Vlatko Andonovski stated. " I was happy the way we played them here at home. I just hope we come out with the same energy and enthusiasm as we did here and hopefully capitalize on some more of the opportunities we create."

The Dash have the hottest player at the moment in Carli Lloyd having scored in both NWSL matches since her return. Not to mention the amazing performance at the World Cup as well.

FC Kanas City is not without returning World Cup stars though. Captain Becky Sauerbrunn was the rock in the back that kept the US in the games early in the tournament. Lauren Holiday seemed to be getting her attacking mojo back the last couple games after having played defensively for the US and then Amy Rodriguez and Heather O'Reilly will be dangerous as well.

Houston is only a point out of the playoff spot occupied by FC Kansas City and will be hopping to knock off the defending champions.

The match kicks off at 7:30 p.m. CT at BBVA Compass Stadium and can be seen on FOX Sports 2GO.
