Krisztian Nemeth will stay busy during the September international break as he will be on Hungary's roster for two European Qualifier matches.
He will join the Hungary squad for their Sept. 4 match against Romania in Budapest before hitting the road to take on Northern Ireland on Sept. 7 in Belfast.
Hungary currently sits in third place in Group F behind Romania and Northern Ireland with four matches to go in the qualifying stage. The top two teams from each group will qualify directly for the Euros next summer in France, while the third placed teams will be ranked after the group stage is finished. The top third-placed team will qualify directly while the other eight teams will face off in a two-legged set with the four winners advancing.
Nemeth has featured in two Hungary matches since joining Sporting Kansas City, resurrecting a national team career that he hadn't played in since 2013. He's played 44 minutes in both, coming off the bench to start the second half in both matches.
