Sporting Kansas City defender Erik Palmer-Brown has come in at Number 24 for the MLS "24 Under 24" List.

The list, is released annually by MLSSoccer.com to recognize the best young talent in the league. The local KC kid at just 18 years old, is the only teenager to make the list.

Here is what MLSSoccer.com said about his selection (more here):

"The youngest player on this year's list is quite possibly the one with the most upside. Sporting Kansas City Homegrown center back Erik Palmer-Brown has attracted interest on both sides of the Atlantic and is expected to play a big role in this US U-20 national team's cycle. He certainly has the physical goods to do so."

In 2013, EPB became the youngest signing in Sporting KC history at the age of 16. He has played with the national team at basically all levels of Youth development including U-15s, U-17s, U-18s. As a 17 year old, Palmer-Brown began playing with the U-20 national team. He was eventually named to the US Under-20 National Team for the 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup, where he started before the team was eliminated.

In his young MLS career he has been rewarded with trips to each of the last two All Star weeks, where he featured in the MLS Homegrown games. The youngster has played 185 minutes over 3 appearances this season for Sporting KC.
