The full schedule for the Swope Park Rangers' inaugural season in 2016 was announced today. The club will kick things off with a bang on March 26th as they take on Portland Timbers 2 at Children's Mercy Park in front of an eager fan base.
The other date to immediately mark on your calendar is August 21st when St. Louis FC comes to town. With the understood rivalry between the two cities, that match will also be played at Children's Mercy Park. The other 13 home matches for SPR will of course be played in Swope Park at the newly named Children's Mercy Victory Field.
The Rangers are in the Western Conference and will face three regional foes 4 times this season, 2 home and 2 away. Four matches against Jimmy Nielsen and the OKC Energy are sure to be fun, as well as facing STL and Tulsa so many times.
So get your tickets, schedule your road trips and get ready to follow another team on a championship run this year!
