Confirmed: Nemeth has been transferred to Al-Gharafa SC in Qatar.
Sporting Kansas City has announced the transfer that was first reported here earlier.
Krisztian Nemeth may be on the way out of Sporting Kansas City. The Hungarian forward was the subject of several rumors in the off season and it seemed like those might be over when he showed up for preseason.
Until today.
Fellow striker Dom Dwyer tweeted a goodbye to Nemeth. It could be an attempt to mess with people but he has not quickly deleted those tweets in the past.
for those that missed it, here is Dom's tweet, now deleted pic.twitter.com/fn1jEScVbd

Thanks to Mike Kuhn from downthebyline.com for capturing Dwyer's tweet.
Just before that tweet, a source sent the same information and added that they had heard Nemeth is headed to Qatar. This is all unconfirmed at this time but the source has been reliable in the past.
Whether Nemeth goes to Qatar or somewhere in Europe, it would allow him to be closer to home and make it easier to represent Hungary in Euro 2016 competition.
If this is true, Sporting KC went from being very deep all the way around to a little thin at striker. Dom Dwyer and Hungarian rookie homegrown signing Daniel Salloi are the only true center forwards on the roster.
Again, this is unconfirmed. A request for comment from Sporting Kansas City has been sent. This will be updated when more information is available.
UPDATE:
No confirmation either way but Sam from the Star is now hearing about the potential transfer as well.
