Erik Palmer Brown, the 18 year-old defender for Sporting Kansas City, is reported to be on his way to Portugal to complete a loan move with FC Porto.
Brian Sciaretta was the first to report it this afternoon.
A source has told me Erik Palmer Brown has left SKC's camp and is en route to Portugal to negotiate a potential move (or loan) with FC Porto

Confirmation
The team has not responded at this time but league sources are also confirming that EPB has left camp and that Sporting Kansas City has received loan offers for him. FC Porto is just one of the offers the team has received.
A Palmer-Brown transfer would initially be a loan deal but most likely with an option to buy.
He could be the second Homegrown defender to move to Europe this week as the Red Bulls Matt Miazga just signed with Chelsea.
Palmer-Brown is the youngest player in Sporting Kansas City history and the third Homegrown player for the club. EPB as he is known was heavily linked with a possible move to Juventus last year but the move was never completed. It was reported that Juventus had offered up to a million dollars for the Kansas City native.
SKC roster
If this loan deal is completed Sporting Kansas City would be roster size compliant at 28 for the time being after the transfer of Nemeth.
