Sporting KC captain Matt Besler has once again been named to the United States Men's National Soccer Team roster for the January Camp taking place from January 10th to February 6th. Jurgen Klinsmann's squad will face Iceland on January 31st followed by Canada on Feb. 5th, both at the StubHub Center in Carson, California.

Besler made his national team debut in the annual January camp in 13' and became a very important piece as a starting CB for the World Cup and Gold Cup. He has racked up 29 career caps over that time and he'll look to continue making an impact in 2016.

After a very poor 2015, Besler knows the Red, White and Blue must turn things around in a big way this year. "With World Cup qualifiers and Copa America, 2016 is an important year for the U.S. Men's National Team," Besler said. "This camp will be important for us to set the tone for the year. I'm excited to join my teammates as we prepare for the year ahead."

Those teammates he will be joining are as follows:

Goalkeepers (2): Bill Hamid (D.C. United), Luis Robles (New York Red Bulls)

Defenders (5): Kellyn Acosta (FC Dallas), Matt Besler (Sporting KC), Matt Miazga (New York Red Bulls), Eric Miller (Montreal Impact), Tim Parker (Vancouver Whitecaps FC)

Midfielders (11): Fatai Alashe (San Jose Earthquakes), Michael Bradley (Toronto FC), Mix Diskerud (New York City FC), Ethan Finlay (Columbus Crew SC), Jermaine Jones (Unattached), Darlington Nagbe (Portland Timbers), Lee Nguyen (New England Revolution), Marc Pelosi (San Jose Earthquakes), Matt Polster (Chicago Fire), Tony Tchani (Columbus Crew SC), Wil Trapp (Columbus Crew SC)

Forwards (5): Jozy Altidore (Toronto FC), Jerome Kiesewetter (VfB Stuttgart), Jordan Morris (Unattached), Khiry Shelton (New York City FC), Gyasi Zardes (LA Galaxy)

Before the testing themselves against South American powerhouses in the Copa America in June, Jurgen Klinsmann must get his team ready for more World Cup Qualifying as they have a home-and-away against Guatemala at the end of March (25th and 29th).
