Swope Park Rangers announced Wednesday that they added three players to their roster, bringing their 2016 total up to eight.
Alex Molano, Nansel Selbol and Jacob VanCompernolle became the new members of SPR as they signed with the team. Molano was signed after a successful tryout for the club during open tryouts in November. He is a midfielder that played for the NPSL's Dallas City FC in 2015.
Nansel Selbol is a graduate of Sporting KC's academy. The 18-year-old forward is originally from Nigeria before he moved to Kansas City in 2014. He spent a brief time in Sporting KC's academy, making his game debut in September 2015.
VanCompernolle is a 22-year-old defender who played under Rangers' head coach Marc Dos Santos with the Ottawa Fury while in college at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. He also played most recently for Oklahoma City Energy FC, a Sporting KC affiliate.
Swope Park Rangers begin their inaugural season in a few months and their roster will continue to take shape over the coming weeks.
