Sporting KC could have players on opposite side tonight as the US face Canada

The United States Men wrap up their annual January camp (Camp Cupcake) tonight when they face the team from the Great White North (Canada). Sporting Kansas City could have a player on both sides as Captain Matt Besler is with the US and Marcel de Jong is with Canada.

The US is a mix of senior national team and U-23 players. The younger players are there so they can prepare for a playoff series with Columbia for the final berth in the 2016 Summer Olympics in Brazil. The senior team will next face Guatemala in a set of home-and-home matches in World Cup qualifying.

The US beat Iceland 3-2 January 31st and featured both U-23 and senior player with Besler going the full 90.

The Yanks have been the dominant team in the previous matchups with all-time record of 13-8-11 against Canada and a 16-game undefeated streak. The US is 8-0-8 in that streak

The match will be televised live on Fox Sports 1, with kickoff set for 9:30 p.m. CT. a pre-game show, beginning at 9 p.m.

In addition to the English-language broadcast, UniMas will have the match live in Spanish. Fox Sports Go will stream the match on all devices.
