Sporting Kansas City announced on Tuesday morning that Children's Mercy Park will host a 2016 Copa America tuneup friendly between the United States and Bolivia on May 28.

This will satiate some fans who were disappointed that Kansas City was not selected as a site for the tournament.

Children's Mercy Park, then Sporting Park, last hosted the United States men's national team last summer when the United States drew Panama in the group stage of the 2015 Gold Cup.

This is the second of two friendlies for the United States leading into the tournament. Three days prior, they will okay Ecuador in Frisco, Texas, home of FC Dallas.

Season ticket holders will have access to an exclusive pre-sale before sales go online to the general public.
