Sam McDowell of the Kansas City Star is reporting that Sporting Kansas City have signed Diego Rubio, a 22-year-old Chilean forward.
Sporting KC's new forward signing will be 22-year-old Chilean striker Diego Rubio Kostner. He will be a young DP.

The young designated player name means that since he is a designated player under the age of 23, he will only costs $200k against the salary cap.
Rubio has had a storied career already in his young career. He made his debut for Colo-Colo in 2010 when he was 16-years-old and played for them for one season before moving to Sporting Club de Portugal. He spent four seasons with the club, but was loaned frequently, either to Sporting B or to other lower-division European squads. He signed with Real Valladolid, a second-division club in Spain, this past August.
