I know a lot of you are hurting right now, SKC Nation. But if you have nothing else, please appreciate the fact that this club we love so much is owned by people who also care very much. Late last night Robb Heineman tweeted out a letter to the fans.
Check it out:

Look, I know it doesn't solve any problems on the field. But it is good to know he understands the current level of play is unacceptable. He responded directly to the people who asked him about Kei, acknowledged they don't even necessarily deserve your loyalty, and then he gave you his email at the end so you can literally rant directly to him.
Well done, Robb.
Sporting Kansas City has fallen beneath the red line
With Wednesday's loss to Colorado, Sporting fell to 7th place in the Western Conference and out of a playoff position. Their 14 points on the season have them surprisingly only nine points behind the top of the table Rapids. As bad as things are, they welcome Orlando City SC on Sunday, who is in the middle of a five game winless streak of their own. They have only played nine games to SKC's 12, but they have 11 points from only two wins on the season.
Sporting Academy kid had one helluva week
16 year old Jaylin Lindsey was just recently signed to an academy contract with the Swope Park Rangers and he made his first appearance against STLFC. One fun tidbit... He is the first American player born in the year 2000 to play a professional soccer game. Now he has been named to the US U-17 National Team for the AIFF Youth Cup in India. Although it isn't that big of a deal for him, as he has been in the youth system since the U14 level.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic to MLS rumors may actually be picking up more steam
Zlatan is about to play his last game for PSG and MLS, more specifically the Galaxy, look like they could be a real option for him. This Sky Italia journalist seems to think he is very likely to come to America.
Percentuali Ibra oggi: 90% LA, 10% ManUtd #market

It WOULD be the Galaxy. Pff.
Tim Melia is up for Save of the Week
He is nominated for a nice save against Houston where he quickly got down low to block a shot from point blank range. Vote for him here. Goal of the Week nominees are below:
Other interesting MLS happenings
Landon Donovan will be coaching the MLS Homegrown Team again this year against the Mexico U-20's.
The Houston Dynamo have granted Cetlc permission to open talks with Manager Owen Coyle. This is a huge club and it'd be cool to see an MLS coach go on to have success there.
Holy hell. Frank Lampard is fully training for NYCFC. You mean to tell me this man making millions of dollars may actually play some soccer on an MLS field? What a site that would be!
ICYMI: Kei Kamara had a rough week and was traded to the Revolution. Our old friend appears very different from his old love-able self.
I leave you with CD Palencia, whose players will be running and kicking anatomy lessons
Look at these terrifying muscle diagram soccer kits:
