The MLS Disciplinary Committee announced Thursday that they have suspended Roger Espinoza for one game and issued an undisclosed fine for conduct that "endangered the safety of an opponent" in the 85th minute of the Real Salt Lake match. Espinoza will be unavailable while he serves the suspension when Sporting KC hosts DC United Friday.

Sporting Kansas City will already be missing Graham Zusi and Matt Besler while they are with the US and Soni Mustivar with Haiti for the Copa America.

Sporting Kansas City have recalled midfielder Jordi Quintilla to Sporting Kansas City from Swope Park. Quintilla played one match for the Rangers and has been on loan since April 27. Even though he has been on loan during that time, he has mostly practiced with Sporting KC.

Video of Espinoza's foul.

While probably not as severe, it looks like Espinoza was fouled in a similar manner in the same match.
