Jurgen Klinsmann's side face Bolivia tonight at Children's Mercy Park as they continue their preparation for Copa America. After wins versus Puerto Rico and Ecuador, the U.S. will attempt to continue the momentum in Kansas City.
This will be the last opportunity to tune the lineup but with a short rest from their win over Ecuador in Dallas, the question is will Klinsmann go full strength or give others a chance to impress. He may have a mostly new lineup versus what is expected to be a weaker side in Bolivia. The US coach dismissed assertions that it was mismatch when talking to reporters on Friday.
"The FIFA rankings are a little bit misleading," Klinsmann explained. "When you are in South America, you play the Brazilians, the Argentinians, the Chileans, the Colombians of the world and you are not necessarily just going to easily beat them. So with every negative result they have in tight, tight games they drop in the rankings."
Expectations of Darlington Nagbe raised when he got the lone goal for the U.S. versus Ecuador and youngster Christian Pulisic made his case when he came on as well and are both candidates for more time tonight.
Sporting Kansas City's Graham Zusi started and played most of the match so he may not be a starter but Matt Besler came on in the second half so he is more likely to be in the starting eleven.
