The Kansas City Comets announced that they have re-signed Boris Pardo and Cody Hoffman for the 2016-17 Major Arena Soccer League season. Pardo and Hoffman bring the total to nine players on the roster. They join Alain Matingou, Ramone Palmer, Bryan Perez, Lucas Rodriguez, Robert Palmer, Leo Gibson and Stefan Stokic, who were already under contract.
Pardo played 1156:11 minutes in goal across 19 games for the Comets last season and recorded a .711 save percentage. He had 217 saves and a 4.57 goals against average, which ranked second in the league. His 16 victories were an MASL best. Pardo was named to the MASL Team of the Week twice and earned MASL All-League third team honors. This will be the New Jersey native’s fourth season in Kansas City
Hoffman, a midfielder from Lee’s Summit, enters his second year with the club. He played 13 games last season.
