Saad is a 24-year-old Lebanese-American winger who played for Sporting Kansas City from 2011-2014. Sporting KC won his rights in a special lottery draft in the summer of 2011 after he decided to leave the University of Michigan following his freshman season.
In his four seasons with Sporting KC, Saad played in 62 matches and scored eight goals. He went on a free transfer to BEC Tero Sasana F.C. in Thailand following the 2014 season stayed there for two seasons. He went on loan to Pattaya United for 2016.
Other reports suggested that Saad was possibly heading to MLS expansion side Minnesota United FC, but Sporting KC held his rights and would have required compensation.
As @AndyGreder points out, #SportingKC and Minnesota were in talks for Saad deal before Saad, #SportingKC worked out agreement instead.

When this move is officially announced by the club we’ll know further details of the move and we’ll be able to add him to our roster graph. Should this move be made official, Sporting Kansas City will have a surplus of attacking depth, something that has been much needed by the team the past couple of seasons.
