Sporting Kansas City midfielder, Benny Feilhaber made his 200th MLS appearance in his career last night in Sporting’s 1-0 loss to Vancouver. At the same time he continued to move up the club tables for minutes played and appearances, passing the likes of Mo Johnston and Chance Myers in the process. Here are some stats and milestones from this weekend’s games.
Sporting Kansas City
Benny Feilhaber made his 200th appearance in MLS play.
In the 86th minute, Feilhaber moved ahead of Mo Johnston and into 14th place for minutes played across all competitions, he finished the game with 14,187 minutes played.
Feilhaber made his 148th league appearance for KC, breaking his tie with Chance Myers for 14th all time on that list.
The loss was Peter Vermes' 104th in all competitions as head coach of Sporting KC, tying him with Bob Gansler for the most losses as a head coach for the club (Vermes has coached 59 more games than Gansler has).
Jimmy Medranda made his 50th league start for KC, he's the 52nd player to hit that mark.
In the 51st minute, Graham Zusi moved ahead of Chris Klein and into 7th place for minutes played in all competitions for KC, he finished the game with 19,476 minutes played.
Swope Park Rangers
Kharlton Belmar's goal was his 14th league goal for Swope, tying him with Mark Anthony Gonzalez for most league goals in team history.
In the 76th minute, Belmar moved ahead of Kris Typrak and into 11th place for minutes played in all competitions, Belmar finished the game with 2,088 minutes played.
Belmar made his 28th league appearance, tying him with Tyrpak for 9th all time on that list.
Kevin Oliveira made his 31st league appearance, breaking his tie with Ualefi for 7th all time on that list.
Oliveira and Adrian Zendejas made their 31st appearance in all competitions, tying them with Ualefi for 8th all time on that list.
Zendejas made his 31st start in all competitions, tying him with Ualefi for 5th all time on that list.
Tyler Pasher started his 41st league game breaking his tie with Amer Didic for 2nd all time on that list.
Pasher's start was his 46th in all competitions, breaking his tie with Didic for 2nd on that list as well.
Oumar Ballo made his 30th league start for SPR, tying him with Ualefi for 4th all time on that list.
FC Kansas City
Maegan Kelly scored her 5th goal for FCKC in league and all competitions, tying her with Renae Cuellar for 8th all time on both lists.
In the 10th minute, Shea Groom moved ahead of Lauren Holiday and into 8th place for league minutes placed for FCKC, Groom finished the game wtih 4,224 minutes played.
Brittany Kolmel made her 43rd league appearance, breaking her tie with Merritt Mathias for 11th all time on that list.
