On Campus: Enzugusi Continues to Score for Drake

The college season continues on for Sporting Kansas City academy players in college as most teams are well into their conference schedule at this point, the real meat of the season. One player who is continuing to have himself a strong season is freshman Leroy Enzugusi at Drake. While the Bulldogs are struggling in terms of results with only a 3-8 record at this point of the season, Enzugusi scored his fourth goal of the season for Drake this past week in their 3-1 loss to Central Arkansas. Here’s the rest of this week’s update on academy players.

Class of 2013

Seo-In Kim (UCSB) - MF - RSr - Started UCSB's 5-2 win over Cal State Fullerton. Came on as a substitute in UCSB's 3-1 win over UC Riverside.

Wes White (Coastal Carolina) - F - RSr - Came on as a substitute in Coastal Carolina's 2-0 win over South Carolina.

Class of 2014

Heath Honold (West Virginia) - F - Sr - Did not play in either of West Virginia's games.

Mason Leonard (Drake) - D - Sr - Started both Drake's 3-1 loss to Central Arkansas and 1-0 loss to Bradley.

Blake Levine (Baker) - F - Sr - Started and had a goal in Baker's 4-0 win over Mount Mercy.

Matthew Lewis (Fordham) - D - Sr - Started Fordham's 1-1 draw with George Mason.

Andy Lopez (North Carolina) - MF - RJr - Came on as a substitute in UNC's 4-0 win over Winthrop. Did not play in UNC's 1-0 win over NC State.

Noah Mudd (Trevecca) - D - Sr - Started both Trevecca's 3-1 loss to Ohio Valley and 3-1 loss to Cedarville.

Joey Piatczyc (West Virginia) - MF - Sr - Out for the season.

Zach Wright (North Carolina) - F - Sr - Started UNC's 4-0 win over Winthrop, recording a goal and an assist. Started UNC's 1-0 win over NC State.

Class of 2015

Andrew Blalock (Drake) - GK - RSo - Did not play in either of Drake's games.

Robert DeWitt III (Xavier) - MF - Jr - Did not play in Xavier's 4-1 win over Providence.

Jack Freeman (Furman) - D - RSo - Started Furman's 4-0 win over VMI. Did not play in Furman's 2-0 loss to UNC Greensboro.

Bryce Gibson (Creighton) - D - Jr - Started both Creighton's 1-0 win over Omaha and their 2-0 loss to Seton Hall.

Nic Jaimes (Drake) - MF - Jr - Came on as a substitute in Drake's 3-1 loss to Central Arkansas, started Drake's 1-0 loss to Bradley.

Ryan Krutz (Notre Dame) - GK - Jr - Did not play in either of Notre Dame's games.

Zane Moxley (Air Force) - D - Jr - Out for the season.

Alexis Quevedo (UMKC) - MF - Jr - Started both UMKC's 3-2 win over UT Rio Grande Valley and 1-0 win over Incarnate Word.

Hector Solorio (Niagara) - MF - Jr - Came on as a substitute in Niagara's 2-0 loss to Quinnipiac.

Tucker Stephenson (Loyola) - F - Jr - Did not play in Loyola's 3-2 loss to Central Arkansas.

Bailey Weeks (Northeastern State University) - D - RSo - Started both Northeastern's 2-0 win over Lindenwood and their 3-0 win over Upper Iowa.

Dakota Karns (Missouri State) - MF - RFr - Came on as a substitute in Missouri State's 1-0 win over Valparaiso.

Ryan Kellogg (West Virginia) - D - So - Started both West Virginia's 7-0 loss to Pitt and their 2-0 loss to Pacific.

John Leisman (Yale) - F - So - Started Yale's 2-1 loss to Harvard.

Logan Lucas (West Virginia) - D - So - Started both West Virginia's 7-0 loss to Pitt and their 2-0 loss to Pacific.

Christian Albelo (Marquette) - D - Fr - Came on as a substitute in Marquette's 2-0 loss to Milwaukee. Started Marquette's 2-1 loss to Georgetown.

Chase Bromstedt (Tulsa) - D/MF - Fr - Started Tulsa's 1-0 loss to UConn.

Joe Corner (Gonzaga) - MF - Fr - Started and had an assist in Gonzaga's 2-1 win over Denver.
