On Campus: Levine Continues to Score for Baker

A look at Sporting KC academy players in college.

The college soccer season continues to push towards the conference playoffs and a number of teams with former Sporting Kansas City academy players on them continue to make post season pushes. One of these is NAIA school, Baker, which is currently ranked fourth in the division. Former KC academy player, Blake Levine continues to have a strong senior season, scoring two goals in Baker’s 5-1 win over Evangel this past week. Levine also added an assist in Baker’s 2-0 win over Avila on senior night. The goals gave him seven on the season for Baker and the assist gave him 13 on the year.

Class of 2013

Seo-In Kim (UCSB) - MF - RSr - Came off the bench in both UCSB's 2-1 win over Sacramento State and 5-0 loss to UC Davis.

Wes White (Coastal Carolina) - F - RSr - Did not play in either of Coastal Carolina's games.

Class of 2014

Heath Honold (West Virginia) - F - Sr - Did not play in West Virginia's 1-0 loss to Western Michigan.

Mason Leonard (Drake) - D - Sr - Started Drake's 1-0 loss to Evansville.

Blake Levine (Baker) - F - Sr - Started and scored two goals in Baker's 5-1 win over Evangel. Started and had an assist in Baker's 2-0 win over Avila.

Matthew Lewis (Fordham) - D - Sr - Started Fordham's 2-0 win over Rhode Island.

Andy Lopez (North Carolina) - MF - RJr - Did not play in UNC's 2-1 win over Old Dominion. Came on as a substitute in UNC's 4-0 win over Virginia Tech.

Noah Mudd (Trevecca) - D - Sr - Started both Trevecca's 2-1 loss to Findlay and 3-0 loss to Ohio Dominican.

Joey Piatczyc (West Virginia) - MF - Sr - Out for the season.

Zach Wright (North Carolina) - F - Sr - Started both UNC's 2-1 win over Old Dominion and 4-0 win over Virginia Tech, scoring a goal in the second game.

Andrew Blalock (Drake) - GK - RSo - Did not play in Drake's 1-0 loss to Evansville.

Robert DeWitt III (Xavier) - MF - Jr - Did not play in Xavier's 1-0 win over Marquette.

Jack Freeman (Furman) - D - RSo - Did not play in Furman's 2-1 win over Mercer. Was a substitute in Furman's 1-1 draw with East Tennessee State.

Bryce Gibson (Creighton) - D - Jr -Came on as a substitute in Creighton's 0-0 draw with Providence.

Nic Jaimes (Drake) - MF - Jr - Started Drake's 1-0 loss to Evansville.

Ryan Krutz (Notre Dame) - GK - Jr - Did not play in either of Notre Dame's games.

Zane Moxley (Air Force) - D - Jr - Out for the season.
