MLS: Desert Diamond Cup-New York Red Bulls vs Sporting KC Casey Sapio-USA TODAY Sports

SKC to face Revolution on Wednesday

The match is at noon and will be live streamed on FSGo and the Sporting KC website. The boys look to stay unbeaten in the all important pre-season cup.

The club has announced a Season Kickoff Party on Feb. 28

Looks they are doing it pretty big this year as the PnL district in downtown KC is going to be transformed for a full day event including futsal courts, yard games, and live music. They are even planning a fan march through downtown to No Other Pub.

Looks like Zusi is our right back

Zusi is “getting more comfortable” at the his new position and I think we can officially assume that he is PV’s first choice at right back (if he starts there again tomorrow). I think I like it. Zusi has shown me over the last couple years that, while he is good for a howler or two each season, he is just pretty bad in front of goal. But he is quick, he is smart, he is good on the ball, and he can distribute well. Plus it obviously opens up a spot for Blessing to start on the wing opposite Gerso (and makes room for the likes of Porter, Salloi, Pasher and Volesky some time on the field). The more I examine it and see him in that spot on the field - the more I like it.

MLS Roster Predictions

Doyle takes a swing at the SKC starting lineup. He has Zusi on the wing and Soni Mustivar starting over Illie Sanchez. Those are two spots I think he has missed on.
