Juice Boxes and Post Game Stats: One Out of Three is Better Than None

Stats and milestones from Kansas City’s three soccer teams.

Unlike last week when none of Kansas City’s three outdoor teams were able to notch a win, this week, one of KC’s three teams picked up a win. The lone home team, Sporting Kansas City picked up a 3-0 win against Real Salt Lake while the Swope Park Rangers (2-1) and FC Kansas City (1-0) were on the wrong side of one goals losses. Here are some stats and milestones from all three teams’ games.

Sporting Kansas City

Graham Zusi's assist was his 50th assist for Kansas City in league play, he's only the second player to hit that mark for the club.

The assist was Zusi's 23rd game winning assist in league play for KC, breaking his tie with Preki for number 1 on that list.

In the 43rd minute, Zusi became the 8th player to hit 15,000 minutes playing for KC in league play.

Zusi made his 235th appearance in all competitions for KC, tying him with Chris Klein for 6th all time on that list.

In the 72nd minute Matt Besler moved past Jimmy Conrad and into 4th place for league minutes played for Sporting KC. Besler finished the game with 18,212 minutes played.

Benny Feilhaber's goal was his 26th in league play for KC, tying him with Zusi for 10th all time on that list.

Feilhaber's goal was his 30th in all competitions for KC, tying him with Scott Sealy for 9th all time on that list.

Feilhaber's goal was his 17th league goal for KC at home, breaking his tie with Zusi for 9th on that list.

It was his 19th goal at home in all competitions, breaking his tie with Zusi for 9th on that list.

Feilhaber's goal was his 7th game winner in league play for KC, tying him with Sealy and CJ Sapong for 9th all time on that list.

It was his 8th game winner in all competitions, tying him with Sealy, Igor Simutenkov, and Digital Takawira for 10th all time on that list.

Roger Espinoza recorded his 22nd assist for KC in league play, tying him with Kerry Zavagnin for 9th all time on that list.

In the 55th minute, Seth Sinovic moved past Jack Jewsbury and into 10th place for minutes played in all competitions, he finished the game with 15,009 minutes played.

In the 81st minute, Sinovic became the 10th player to his 15,000 minutes for KC in all competitions.

Swope Park Rangers

Kharlton Belmar's third goal ties him with Ayrton and Christian Duke for 7th all time in both league play and in all competitions.

At 24 years, 149 days, Belmar pasted Alex Molano to become the 18th oldest player to start a league game or a game in all competitions for SPR.

In the 74th minute, Amer Didic moved past Tommy Meyer and into third place for league minutes played for SPR, he finished the game with 2,191 minutes played.

Didic made his 31st league appearance for SPR, breaking his tie with Ualefi and moving him into 2nd place on that list.

Didic made his 24th league start for Swope Park, tying him with Tommy Meyer for 4th all time on that list.

In the 42nd minute, Kevin Oliveira moved past Dane Kelly and into 10th place for league minutes played for SPR.

In the 33rd minute, Oliveira moved past Ayrton and into 11th place for minutes played in all competitions.

Tyler Pasher made his 28th league appearance for SPR, tying him with Kris Tyrpak for 5th all time on that list.

Pasher made his 32nd appearance in all competitions, tying him with Tyrpak for 4th all time on that list.

Nansel Selbol made his 25th league appearance, breaking his tie with Tomas Granitto for 8th all time on that list.

He also made his 27th appearance in all competitions, tying him with Granitto for 8th on that list.

FC Kansas City

Desiree Scott made her 35th league appearance for FCKC, breaking her tie with Amy Rodriguez and Shea Groom for 11th on that list.

Scott made her 36th appearance in all competitions for FCKC, tying her with Groom for 12th on that list.

Scott made her 35th league start, tying her with Merritt Mathias for 8th all time on that list.

In the 16th minute, Brittany Taylor moved past Frances Silva and into 15th place for league minutes played, finishing the game with 2,070 minutes played.

In the 6th minute, Taylor moved past Becca Moros and into 18th place for minutes played in all competitions, in the 14th she then moved past Kristie Mewis and into 17th on the same list, then in the 35th minute she moved past Silva and into 16th place on that list, finishing the game with 2,070 minutes played.

Taylor made her 23rd league appearance for FCKC, tying her with Caroline Kastor and Nikki Phillips for 18th on that list.

Taylor started her 23rd league game for FCKC, tying her with Phillips for 15th on that list.

Taylor made her 23rd start in all competitions for FCKC, tying her with Moros for 16th on that list.
