Volesky Wins USL Player of the Week - Former Sporting Player Update

Christian Volesky wasn’t a Sporting Kansas City player long, the forward who was signed by KC in early January and waived in late February is back in the USL this season, having signed with Saint Louis FC after being waived by Sporting. This past week, Volesky won the USL player of the week award for his performance in Saint Louis’ 3-2 win over the Ottawa Fury. Volesky scored the first goal, assisted on the second, and then set up the own goal that proved to be the winner for Saint Louis.

In other news this week, the Luis Gil move to Orlando City looks like it will be done soon and will be a loan move with option to buy.
