Sporting Kansas City got a 13 minute hat trick from Gerso Fernandes in the second half (the second fastest in team history after Digital Takawira’s nine minute hat trick against New England in 1998) led Kansas City to a 3-0 win over Seattle.

Here are some stats from the game.

Gerso Fernandes' hat trick was Sporting KC's first in league play since Birahim Diop against the San Jose Earthquakes on 10/23/2010 and first overall since Dom Dwyer vs FC Dallas in the US Open Cup on 7/1/2015. It's the 7th hat trick in team history in league play, eighth overall.

Benny Feilhaber's assist was his 53rd in all competitions for KC, breaking his tie with Chris Klein for 3rd all time on that list.

In the 65th minute, Benny Feilhaber moved past Chance Myers and into 18th place for league minutes played, he finished the game with 10,544 minutes played.

Feilhaber started his 144th game in all competitions, tying him with Josh Wolff for 15th on that list.

Seth Sinovic made his 145th league appearance, breaking his tie with Matt McKeon and Josh Wolff for 14th on that list.

Dom Dwyer made his 124th league appearance for KC, breaking his tie with Chris Brown for 20th on that list.

Ike Opara started his 50th league game, he's the 51st player to hit that mark.

The shutout was Melia's 23rd league shutout for KC, breaking his tie with Bo Oshoniyi and Hartman for 3rd on that list.
