Peter Vermes suffered his 100th loss across all competitions as Sporting KC's head coach.

It was his 85th loss in all competitions, tying him with Bob Gansler for the most losses as the team's head coach (Vermes has coached 37 more games).

Tyler Pasher made his MLS debut for Sporting KC.

Benny Feilhaber made his 156th appearance in all competitions for Sporting, tying him with Tony Meola for 17th all time on that list.

FC Kansas City

Alexa Newfield scored her first goal for FC Kansas City.

Becky Sauerbrunn made her 72nd league appearance and 77th in all competitions, breaking her tie with Jen Buczkowski for 3rd all time on both lists.

In the 31st minute, Shea Groom moved past Amy Rodriguez and into 11th place for league minutes played, she finished the game wtih 2,865 minutes played.

Groom and Desiree Scott both made their 37th league appearance for FCKC, tying them with Mandy Laddish for 10th all time on that list.

Groom made her 39th appearance in all competitions, tying her with Laddish for 10th all time on that list.

Groom also tied Rodriguez for 10th place for starts in league play with 33.

Scott made her 38th appearance in all competitions, tying her with Rodriguez for 11th on that list.

In the 63rd minute, Brittany Taylor moved past Amy LePeilbet and into 13th place for league minutes played for FCKC, she finished the game with 2,340 minutes played.

In the 69th minute, Taylor passed Heather O'Reilly and moved into 14th place for minutes played in all competitions, finisheding the game with 2,340 minutes played.

In the 76th minute, Becca Moros moved past Nikki Phillips and into 17th place for league minutes played, she finished the game with 1,985 minutes played. At the same time she moved past Phillips for minutes played in all competitions, finishing the game with 2,165 minutes played.

Yael Averbuch made her 46th appearance in all competitions, breaking her tie with Merritt Mathias for 8th all time on that list.

Averbuch made her 39th start in all competitions, breaking her tie with Mathias for 7th on that list.
