Two games with dominating possession but no goals and an offensive explosion for FC Kansas City, here are some stats from this weekend’s soccer action for KC’s teams.

Sporting Kansas City

Roger Espinoza's red card was his 8th in all competitions for KC, breaking his tie with Nick Garcia for the most in team history in all competitions.

Benny Feilhaber made his 157th appearance in all competitions, breaking his tie with Tony Meola for 17th all time on that list.

Feilhaber started his 145th game in all competitions, breaking his tie with Josh Wolff for 15th all time on that list.

Peter Vermes was in charge of his 86th loss in league play for Kansas City, the most losses for a head coach in league play in KC history.

Seth Sinovic made his 147th league appearance, tying him with Chance Myers for 13th all time on that list.

At 25 years, 355 days, Christian Duke became the 10th oldest player to appear in, or start a game game both in league play and in all competitions.

At 24 years, 176 days, Kharlton Belmar became the 19th oldest player to appear in a league game, moving ahead of Alex Molano.
