Tim Melia continued a very good season for a goalkeeper (something KC has seen plenty of over the years) with another penalty stop this past weekend against Diego Valeri. Also this week Yael Averbuch hit a milestone for FC Kansas City.

Sporting Kansas City

Tim Melia became the third Sporting KC goalkeeper to stop 3 penalty kicks in a season (Mike Ammann 1998 and Tony Meola 2001).

Benny Feilhaber started his 150th game in all competitions for KC, he's the 15th player to hit that mark for KC.

Feilhaber started his 126th league game for KC, tying him with Matt McKeon for 16th all time on that list.

At 20 years, 347 days, Daniel Salloi is the 7th youngest player to score a league goal for Sporting KC.

Roger Espinoza's assist was his 23rd for the club, breaking his tie with Kerry Zavagnin for 9th all time on that list.

It was his 26th in all competitions, tying him with Mark Chung for 8th all time on that list.
